My Favorite Way to Shoot
Blind shooting. Just hold the camera down in front of your subject and shoot, hope you get something. Invariably, I always do. Have gotten some of my most favorite shots this way. Especially of my silly girl, Kyla.
The sun has come. She is happy.
At first I was disappointed this next series was out of focus. Then I took another look. Maybe she should be out of focus.
I have no words.
A Peek
First up: Annie. Queen of the household.

Sweet Little Cody. Does this kid love his dog, or what? This is one of those images that makes me take a breath when I see it. You can just feel the moment between them.

Feisty Chloe. Fun. Food Motivated Obsessed. Snorty.

Scrappy Holly. We’ll see more of her later.

And the best for last: the infamous frog costume. Really, folks. Does it get any better than this?

The Fabulous Four
This lively bunch definitely kept me on my toes this weekend. They won a free session through the Free to Live auction a while back.
Yes, that loud snorting you hear is the feisty yet dainty pug, Chloe. It literally did not stop the entire session!
Can you say froggie costume and pink tutus? More to come later…

Looking for their perfect home
Here are just a few of the cuddly, snuggly dogs and cats looking for a forever home at the Edmond Animal Shelter. These photos were taken during the Rescues and Runways Fashion Show last Saturday, benefiting Paws for Life, Inc.
Stop by and give one of these friendly faces their perfect home!
