These nails.

Such long, husky nails.

But if she’s ever in Alaska, or Antarctica…

She’s pulling that sled, gripping that ice.

Blind shooting. Just hold the camera down in front of your subject and shoot, hope you get something. Invariably, I always do. Have gotten some of my most favorite shots this way. Especially of my silly girl, Kyla.

The sun has come. She is happy.

At first I was disappointed this next series was out of focus. Then I took another look. Maybe she should be out of focus.
